Unwanted space on site

I have just changed my theme set layout - same theme different layout, and now I have huge white spaces at the top of each page as if the first editing block was blank. However this appears when scrolling down. How do I eliminate this space?

Well, I read the terms and stuff but I still have one question. Is it ok to have a hacking site here? I don't mean like a site about hacking credit card numbers and stuff, but like a site about remote administration techniques, key loggers, and stuff like that.
