I am using WS_FTP to upload my website from my computer but I'm getting an error message that says Permission denied. What would be causing this? Oh I have the free account, could that be the reason?
Most likely you are trying to use your normal account details to log in. You need to create an FTP account which will have a user number and its own password.

Nope I'm using the # log in and my password to my FTP account. But it keeps saying 550 permission denied. I'm going to see if Angelfire is any easier but I've had this Bravehost for a few years!
