Unwanted space on site

I have just changed my theme set layout - same theme different layout, and now I have huge white spaces at the top of each page as if the first editing block was blank. However this appears when scrolling down. How do I eliminate this space?

Doesn't happen in Explorer - which is all I have available at work.

Doesn't happen in Firefox, Opera or Chrome. What are you using to see this white space?
By the way, you may want to cut down on your use of bandwidth.

Your MosaicxBooksxlogo.jpg image is about 90 kilobytes. If that website was mine, I would expect it to be about 2 or 3 kilobytes.
