1928 wood restoration questions
i am currently restoring a 1928 m2 and there is a bunch of wood rot,some not usable as templates.how do i find out what kind or wood was original and is there such a thing as plans i could acquire.if anybody could help with info would be greatly appreciated.

Gas Mileage
Sirs : Did amother good jaunt with the Star last weekend, 235 miles... **** near run out of gas. The literature says 25 mpg and I calculated my trip at 20 mpg @ 35 mph mainly. This is part of my "tuning", so I am wondering other peoples' numbers (mpg's)....
