A friend of mine is looking at a 1928 Durant Star. The car has been garaged all these years and is in good shape for it's age. Everything is still original. We were wondering what would be a good price to pay for the car. If the owner wanted $5,000. Would that b...

I pulled the radiator shell off of the 619 last week and discovered a fair amount of damage to the bottom of the shell.

I use battery tenders on all my stored cars. Twice now the tender terminal that was attached to the battery completely corroded away breaking the connection. I end up with a lot of green stuff on the terminal and a dead battery. What gives?
My Star has a W-4 engine with one of Frank's Zenith carbs. I have to both fully retard and choke it to get it to start even when it is hot. I then have to quickly advance the spark or it dies. If the engine is hot, I have to stop choking as well. Any suggestions?
