I am about to complete the rebuild of my engine but need to make the oil level float mechanism for the 4cyl W5A engine. Does anyone have any detailed drawings; photos or materials of construction that I could use?
The chrome radiator surround (see photos of my car on the DMAC 'photos' webpage) is in a poor state and repairs are very difficult and re-chroming nearly impossible. What I really need is a new, or nearly new, surround. Anyone any ideas where I can get one?
I needed a small part plated for my car and contacted American Plating Company who I found on the internet. They advised that they also had resilvered headlight reflectors for old cars. I sent them my headlight reflectors for my 1928 Durant that were in good shape j...

I've just had my M40 piston conrods remetalled and am starting to rebuil the engine. I only have a manual for an M2 model and this refers to tappet clearances measured 'hot'. Can anyone give me the M40 tappet clearances when the engine is cold.
Does anyone know what material was used between the hood and firewall and how it was secured? Mine overlaps about 1 3/4 inches and there doesn't seem to be any evidence of rivets. I'm thinking of using 2" fender welt. Also, I'm assuming that the front hood-to-radia...

I found this guy who lives in Nebraska that will custom make any wheel or hub puller size you want. He's a very good machinist and a car guy too. Has several old cars himself. His work is top notch and he guarantees his work.

My father has a transmission from a Frontenac and is wondering if there is any interest out there for it. He is pretty sure the car was a 1931. Unfortunatly it seems that the transmission is the only thing he has left from the car. He lives in Chilliwack, B.C.

2. Were any of the rad shells painted?
