Snubber Shock Material

The supply of this product is quickly drying up and it is getting harder and harder to find. Restoration Supply I believe is totally out of it and does not plan on getting any back in EVER! They advised that the manufacturer has stopped production and wants between $60,000 and $100,000 to make a run which they just can't justify financially. When I was looking for some last summer, DMAC member Mac Irving turned me on the below company. I called them and they found they still had some on the shelf. They sell 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" wide size. This is the correct factory type material to use if your restoring your snubbers for our cars. It isn't cheap, so don't have a heart attack when you find out the price but I purchased 20 ft for my car which is just about what you need. You can measure your old material for the right length and width. I know Gabriel Snubbers came in two sized and used either the 1 1/4" or the 1 1/2" size.

They have other interesting things for our period cars too. If you even remotely think you might need this stuff someday, order it now, it's becoming extinct.
