My father is selling his 27 Star model R Super Six convertible due to his health.
He has asked for my help in coming up with an estimated value.
Runs great, 99% original, 3/5 body condition.
What should he ask for it?
Can anyone tell me if the lower fan belt pulley is just pressed on? I can't see that the drive shaft is threaded for a retainer bolt and I find it hard to believe that it is held on by friction. The manual doesn't explain it very well. Help would be appreciated.

I was advised by a wise restorer that the best way to determine if the number 1 piston was on the compression stroke was to remove the plug, put your thumb over the hole and turn the crank until you felt the pressure. This works well if there are two of you. One to...

My 24 Flint uses a split rim and I have one that when layed flat has about a 3/8' warp on the end. Why can't I use it as it appears to me when you tighten the bolts on the wheel it would eliminate the warp. The later models had 4 lugs whereas mine has 5 which should...

What is the correct radiator hose clamp for a 1929 Durant D63? The best I can tell from some pictures is the double wire type with a slotted screw. The last car show people didn't like my worm drive industrial clamps I stole from work.
