Spark Plugs

I was working on my car today and noticed that the spark plugs are Champion W-14 these were in the car when I got it are these the right plugs for this motor? It is a 14-L motor with a 15-L head.

Re: Spark Plugs

The W-14 is fine, although I think it has been replaced by another plug.
I prefer the Autolite 3016 for my 14L with 15L head.

Re: Spark Plugs

Orig approved plugs for 60, 63, 66, 70 was Champion C7 .. Lots of hits in search for replacement plugs.

Champion C-7 spark plug replacement
C7 was discontinued & replaced by Champion 541 / RD16 which is a resistor type spark plug. D16 was non resistor equivalent.

Autolite 385 would be a colder plug than RD16 Champion.

Autolite 386 resistor plug same heat range as Champion RD16.

Autolite 388 resistor plug hotter same heat range as Champion D21.

If you want a non resistor type plug use Autolite 3116 or Denso L14-U.

NAPA as Rick said has plugs replacement plugs.
