The GM Photostore is selling a reprint of our Mr. Durant taken in the 1920's. I ordered a copy an it looks real nice. Since according to the GM website, the photo was taken in the 1920's, I can only guess it was taken during his Durant Motors days, not GM. Anyway, yo...

For the club members information there was no 31 DeVaux roadster. The 32 roadster is rare but it was not a "boattail". That windshield is a made up deal. Also, what would that engine be worth if the head was off for so long. Gary
Hey Durantonians, anyone have some extra money and a storage place sitting around they don't need. There is a Durant/Dort buggy for sale on Ebay. It would be great for a later donation to the Durant Museum! Just thinking ahead.
Today I received the first batch of 25 license plate toppers in the mail of Carol Fogarazzo's design that won the contest. They are over 31/2" round and are made of brass metal with a closonne' finish in bright vibrant colors. I think they came out just beautiful. I...
Can anyone tell me what is an acceptable range of tension/pressure in a valve spring for a W5 engine? Is it ever necessary or appropriate to use shims?

I noticed the tech page calls for our Durants to run 30 wt. oil in the crankcase. this is what I used until I tore down my engine to replace rings. First, the smell of the oil pan reminded me of crude oil straight from the oil well. Of course, I don't know if this en...
