My uncle was a WOP/AG with 106 squadron, from June 1943, failed to return from Berlin raid 26 November 1943. Flew on some of the raids your father did with 106 squadron. I'm trying to find out more about my uncle's RAF career. Was fascinated by your copies of pages from the 106 squadron ORB |

Hey My Nans brother was SGT GH Tyler who flew with the 106 squadron featured on your website. There are some great pictures of him on there and he mentions Steve in some letters he wrote to my Nan. On his 2nd tour of duty he was to join the 630 SQD where he flew in Lancasters out of East Kirby. I have only recently found his Flight book which lists all the operations they went on. I was wondering if any of the crew are still alive ? any information you have would be great. I have sent you an email also Thank you for putting this information on here it has been a great help |

Great website! I'm trying to find relatives of the crew of Lancaster ED303, lost on July 28th 1943 during the Hamburg Raid. My uncle, Douglas Barnfather, from Argentina, was mid-upper gunner. The crew were as follows: Captain: E.G.McLeod Flt.Engineer: F.Robertson Navigator: D.A.Campbell AirBomber: I.G.Armet W/Operator: V.R.Jacobs M/U Gunner: D.Barnfather Rear Gunner: F.Backhouse I'd appreciate if anybody related or acquainted with these would contact me. Thanks very much! Donald Horsburgh, Melrose, Florida |
