| Do you have any comments?   | I have been interested in the Dam Busters for as long as I can remember. Guy Gibson was one of my boyhood heroes, although in reality he may not have been the kind of person one could model oneself on. He was from a different background and an earlier generation, but he and people like him won the war for us. Simple as that. I have known RAF Scampton since about 1960, and to this day I feel that the place is seeped in the history and the \'feel\' of those long-ago wartime days. One small criticism - I liked your website, but didn\'t like your poor spelling and punctuation! BT |
