Hi Jennifer and Tom! Liz told me about the website and I browsed it...I am so excited for you and so happy that the Deli is still kickin' after more than 20 years. I still tell people that it was my favorite job of all time; the life lessons I learned there, while it might not have been evident at the time, have still carried through to today. I learned about keeping positive, respect, and that what you put inside your body is really so very important. The food was forward then and still is today--there isn't anything like The New Deli in Vacaville and it's so hard to find some good, healthy home cooked food unless I do it myself, so I really do cook all the time. Love you all and I'm going to come get a cookbook!
