I would like to rent a home for a week in August in the Beach & ski association in Tamworth. We had rented years ago and loved the area. Can anyone help us? Thanks... Rick

Eidelweiss is a Village District, under NH law, and has its own government of three elected Commissioners, an elected Clerk, and an elected Moderator. Under NH law, Eidelweiss has Annual Meetings with its own registered voters. Under NH law, Eidelweiss could, and did, at one time, have its own police, zoning and fire department. Eidelweiss chose to do away with them and use Madison Police, Fire and Zoning because Eidelweiss pays 20% of the total tax collected by Madison for town wide services, in addition to the +$400K Eidelweiss taxes. Madison does not "govern" Eidelweiss. Under NH law, the Village District of Eidelweiss governs the Village District of Eidelweiss.
