Hey does anyone other then me remember "BLACK FRIDAY" on Pinder Barracks? That was some day...

Well I arrived after the famous black friday 1986. It was still talked about then.

i was there , some of my best friends where busted, i was in 6/14fa b.btry, a.btry was totally wiped out by black friday, i remember them having to bring in all new recruits. i was shipped to ft. leavenworth shortly after that for a knife fight with my roomate, hope all you warbonnets are doing good, take care , and hope to hear from old friends p.s. would love to be at the rock&roll bar drinking a zirndorfef

Yup, I was there. A sgt in maint (motor pool) got busted as well as the bn commo officer, Capt C.

I remember it...I was in the formation when it took place. It was an extremely dramatic day....one I will never forget. It definitely sent a clear sign to folks (those in and out of cuffs).

I was PA for the Bn 80 - 84. yep, remember it. I had several run ins with the Col.. - bde cdr.. little short guy with a napoleon complex. I thought Schreyach [sp?] was great.

Was there, stood the formation and watched the bus load. Glad I only seen one of those. My X roommate got on the bus. Remember STINKY from the snack bar?
