I think that this is one of the best written articles I have ever been previledged to read.
I think most of us vets from that era knew that the news media got most of the facts wrong. Yet I definitely did not know to what extent, nor did I know the fact numbers stated in the article, but it really does not surprise me.
The majority of the young men that served there were sons of the II war and Korean vets and the majority of us grew up with higher standards than the world around us (my opinion).
I also agree with Bruce Dwyer that they are trying to do the same thing to our soldiers in Iraq.
