Re: LEAK ON PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR OF A HUMMER

Ok ! Maybe now we are getting somewhere. However, my leak seems to be seasonal. After afreeze /thaw it starts again. Was fine all summer. They keep telling me roof drains.check. Now what you said makes more sense. Do I approach this from outside after removing the cowl ? It does leak from inside dash (firewall) and from top glove box. Making me crazy.

Re: LEAK ON PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR OF A HUMMER

I had this exact problem. Check what Junior said.

Re: LEAK ON PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR OF A HUMMER

here is what I have seen personally

roof rack leaks, light bar leaks, sunroof drain leaks
where the fender attaches to the body leaks.
but they never do it until we touch the glass lol.
Good luck

Re: LEAK ON PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR OF A HUMMER

ALWAYS check the front carpet before you start. If it’s wet make sure the customer signs off. That will help avoid the “you touched it last syndrome “

Re: LEAK ON PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR OF A HUMMER

I have the cowl apart, do not find what you are talking about. Can you post a pic. ?

Re: LEAK ON PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR OF A HUMMER

there is a body seam at the front fender that leaks
