legislation for self driving cars

Years ago, state legislatures started to pass all kinds of laws concerning liability issues and who and where segways could be operated. It was all a waste of time. They were way too expensive and consumers weren't interested in paying.

Will consumers want self driving cars and be willing to pay the cost? I doubt it, but it remains to be seen.

Re: legislation for self driving cars

we need to think beyond ourselves and dream about the freedom self driving cars will give a segment of our population.
Those who can't or won't drive will be it's pioneers .
Think about what it can do for the blind, disabled , elderly .
The possibilities are to big to ignore.
The possibilities are life changing or life giving to some.
