HSG interview

I read the HSG interview with Wayne Sharra

This guy is very out of touch. HSG request discounts that are a joke.

They ask for in most cases 50% off NAGS and 50.00 flat labor.

I quit accepting referrals from them out of our 3 shops. If he is wondering why they leak oil in driveways and show up late?

The answer is easy Quality shops will not work for free!!!!!

Select a better price model NAGS is corrupt, with there latest update they confirm what a bunch of criminals they are!

Nags will force the industry to abandon the scam that they call list price.

Re: HSG interview

HSG is out of touch. Totally agree with you. They keep calling us asking to do dealer parts for that low labor rate. I dont know if i could find a delivery company to pickup part from dealer and just deliver it, much less ask a installation company to install a expensive dealer part, warranty it forever for that low price!

We get ameriprise customers calling all the time, but we refuse to accept HSG rates

Re: HSG interview

All from the Harmon Solutions web page. Interestingly, some of the more interesting links on the site have been disabled.

However: Quotes from the site speak for themselves, especially after reading the interview, whicheth sideth of his moutheth he speaketh from. lol Obviously, what he tells insurers is in direct conflict with what he tells shops.

Gee, what a surprise, that what he's selling insurers, would be in direct conflict to what he's telling shops, in simple terms of "reduced severity" and "reduced claims costs", and "reduced claims frequency".

Of course, we've all known, or should have known this, for nearly three decades. Simply put, there is no such thing as insurance business, no matter how hard they try to convince us there is, because the insurer is not, has not, and likely will not, be contracting for the repairs to the property. Therefore, the TPA cannot be either.

"Insurance vs. Cash Calculator
This program allows us to use our nimble technology to quickly access the cash market value and let the market help make the decision – to the benefit of all."

"HSG prices your claim using both the available insurance and cash market prices in each local market to see if the claim might fall below the deductible in the cash market. If cash pricing can be used, the policyholder is connected with a top tier local glass shop and the claim is never filed. That means savings for the policyholder and a reduction in claim frequency for the carrier!"

"HSG is committed to attaining the highest repair rates in the industry. Our Solutions Advisors utilize proprietary scripting to qualify windshield damage for possible repair, and a network of dedicated repair specialists to deliver industry leading repair rates."

"We provide auto glass claims services that provide significant improvement in overall severity and loss adjustment expenses. "

" Policyholders receive extended coverage above and beyond their policy on any future breakage occurring within the warranty period.
So, 20/20 eliminates the need for a new glass claim to be filed or deductible to be met. "

Couple these with quotes from the article, and I trust the conflict will be apparent. (it should be obvious, but hey, the entire industry continues to fall for the same rhetoric year after year)

And, as always, this is all JMHNLO.
