Rear car glass design‏

Dears,
How can we get the accurate design of the rear glass (the black shaded part around the edge, the black dotes, the defrosters lines) of Mercedes C180, model: 2000 ?
This design must be accurate as we need to apply it to new blank rear glass.

Waiting your kind feedback, thank you.

Re: Rear car glass design‏

There are companies that make laminates with defroster and matrix designs for what you seem to want. A few years back we made a custom back for a Maserati that needed this. The cost of doing this back glass this way will probably cost 5-8 times as much as buying one from a dealer/glass shop. If all you need is a stock glass try them first.

Re: Rear car glass design‏

A C180 has the black paint and dots as well as the heating circuit screen printed on the glass and fired in during the bending and tempering process. The black paint is a special ceramic material and the grid lines and bus bars contain silver to conduct the electricity. Not sure where you think you are going to find a pattern or decal to add to a clear back window!! It has to be bent and tempered to the exact size and shape to fit properly in the vehicle. As the man says - buy one from your distributor.
