Are you still going to use the so called open claims program you promised

would roll out the 1st quarter of this year?

Gary it would be to the best of all to answer these questions asked to you

on this forum.

I know your busy with all the different partnering of different companys

that really in my eyes and others does little to help the independents.

Your open claims program to help with billing ins. companies outside of the

typical 3rd party crap sounded to good to be true, so is this ever going

to launch?

Those that have signed up with the Open Claims Program have received quarterly email updates with regards to the program.

In short, the program is still a work in progress while technical and logistics issues with several insurance companies interested in being part of the program are worked out. Several of the companies that were to be inaugural launch partners paused when one of the TPA's in the industry was acquired. Since that TPA has done nothing, these companies are moving forward to work with the Open Claims Program.

eDirectGlass and ACD are the companies who either own or manage the OCP. The Independent Glass Association is a partner to provide the OCP with coverage should IGA members in those markets wish to participate. In some anticipated markets that one or more of these carriers write policies in there is still a gap in shop support.

The Open Claims Program is still in progress and it is anticipated that a launch for one or more carriers could happen any day.
