I have a fleet customer who needs a replacement on the company owner's truck. It's a 2015 F-150 with Rain Sensor and the Lane Departure Warning option. It looks like a fairly straight forward job, but I thought I'd check and see if anyone has run into any issues. I'll be using a CARLITE glass so there won't be any aftermarket issues.
Gravy job, only person that makes this is Carlite far as I know. The body of the cab is Aluminum so do not be a hack and scratch the hell out of it. You should use a good quality glue!
The top is an exposed edge, and there is underside on both sides, the cowl comes off pretty easily. Everyone I have done has cut out very easily.
I use the Ulta Wiz Stainless Blades to prevent contamination.
