'05 Mini Cooper Convertible

2005 Mini Cooper Convertible

I've yet to do one of these. I didn't even know they made a convertible in '05. I'm aware of the moulding, cowl, and VIN issues with the coupe model. Is the convertible basically the same or is there more / less to look out for?

Re: '05 Mini Cooper Convertible

I was going to say HI AGN long time no hear! Is this the original auto glass ninja? Hmmmm I hate imposters!

Anyway the mini coopers, coup poops, are way BAD, but the convert is not bad at all. Since the top opens there are no side moldings that run all the way from front to back. Just did a convert a couple months ago and was not a problem just go slow and be careful.

Re: '05 Mini Cooper Convertible

It is I, the one and only Ninja. I got back from Europe last week and stepped right into a Mini Cooper job. It went smoothly enough. The convertibles are just the same as the coupes.
