Asked to do a 1982 Rolls Royce Silver Spur.
Looks like it could be a picky job. Any advice would be helpful.

Looks like glue in I think.

Pull the inner moldings. There are screws that go through the pinchweld and hold the outer molding. It's a rubber set.

I learned something today. Thanks Lee will note it. We have these made up with no black band because of the VIN Notch it was easier and cheaper to have FYG make without it . I was told that with no band had to be careful when applying the urethane nothing would be hidden without the black ceramic band..

So Richard, did the original have a black frit band around it? Of all the cars to possibly not make back to original spec, a friggin' Rolls Royce?

I believe the originals had the black band with the VIN Notch but we have been selling to the Rolls Royce dealers without the band for several years. We had FYG make these and I believe there is no logo on glass just dot#.
These cars are not worth big money even if the parts are expensive.
