Re: Gary Hart open claims program 4th and final post
I tried to call IGA several times in the last few weeks to discuss this and other things that could be very beneficial to my business. No answer, left messages, no returned calls.

Looks like Gary may be a goner. So many want this organization to do big things for them, you have to be willing to help yourself and not rely upon others to do your work. Quit being lazy and do the work yourself. contact the American Arbitration Association and push them to get more states involved with claims resolution and get off the networks. YOU CANNOT HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO. Be responsible for your self and quit relying on others enough said.

YOU ALL HAVE IT SOME WHAT CORRECT.I WONT SAY WHAT PARTS, BUT GARY IS MORE THAN LIKELY ON A NICE VACATION ON THE IGA MEMBERS DIME. LOL. HE WILL COME UP WITH A GREAT RESPONSE WHEN HE RETURNS SO HE CAN SECURE MORE OF YOUR MONEY (CLASSIC USED CAR SALESMAN/STREET WALKER GLASS SALESMAN!).
Re: Gary Hart open claims program 4th and final post
I am in the office Monday through Friday, from 8:30am (eastern) until 3pm (eastern) Mon-Wed-Friday and 7:30am (pacific) until 4:30pm (pacific) Tuesday and Thursday.
May I ask what extension you are dialing? My direct extension is 508.
As for the Open Claims Program, it is still on track to launch in Q1 of this year. ACD, who is working with their insurance partners on integrating their glass programs, is finishing their integration (electronic assignment/authorization/etc.) with the Open Claims Program platform.
Once the insurance companies are satisfied that the technology works and signs off on it, the program will launch. There are a lot of moving parts to this, especially since shops will be able to electronically report claims without having to call the insurance company. This means direct access to currently policy conditions, limits, etc.
Is this satisfactory enough or can I provide any other detail?
Re: Gary Hart open claims program 4th and final post
Bob
I am very annoyed with the this membership.
I have been in the glass business for 20years and last year decided
to contribute to the IGA thinking they could do something with this
Well Gary do you have anything to say.
You surly will never see me renew this year.
and how many others will not renew their membership.
We do not need more lip service in this world there is enough of that
already.
I only have one "Bob" as a registered IGA member so if you would be so kind to either post your real name or company name, I would be more than happy to contact you directly.
Re: Gary Hart open claims program 4th and final post
An innovative program such as this doesn't occur overnight. At the press conference at AGW 2014 when this was announced, they said it would be rolled out the first quarter of 2015. Last I heard it was still on schedule and had several insurance companies that have already signed up. Even if its release were to get pushed back a bit, it would be "better late than never" right?
Re: Gary Hart open claims program 4th and final post
If you have registered with the OCP, you will be receiving an email in the next few weeks regarding information for the first insurance partner along with instructions for setting up your OCP profile and management portal.
