Ford Flex Side Molding & BTB

Used my BTB today and got these side moldings off like butter! I just got in there & cut a few of the hard to reach clips, used new clips and ta da ! Just a tip for someone with a BTB that struggles with the flex moldings...

Re: Ford Flex Side Molding & BTB

Good tip I never have had the displeasure of working on a flex just the explorers with the side molding issues.

But I get them off with no issues

Re: Ford Flex Side Molding & BTB

I use the clip tool from equalizer for those clips on the explorer and flex. Equalizers tool is made of a thinner metal so it will fit contour of A pillar. Get clip tool around clip, and with a little push to release one side of clip, and a pull to release other side of clip, moulding pops right up. Once you get first clip released the others are very easy to get to.

Do you know the part # on that?

Thanks
