Geico auto glass claim scam

They are indiscriminately refusing to accept claims on our conference calls, forcing insureds to put claims in online. You know what happens next ...

...and it goes straight to safelite. If you must choose this route just use the old phone number.

Better yet, have your customer sign a post loss assignment form, get digital pictures, get names of witnesses a, if any, and mail in the "written" notice of loss as required by their policy before or after doing the work.

It's something new that started this week here. I guess they're still not all trained to say that or maybe they pick and choose to see how people respond because I had another customer with Geico today and they done claim processing on the phone... One of my customer's were not happy with their new system when representative told her to file online.
