2012 VW Passat

Got out to a customer today FW3419 Rain sensor, Went to check R/S after I was done and the wipers didn't work, checked out the owners manual and nothing in it. Called the Dealer, They told me the R/S isn't for the wipers but for the door glass's.. So they told me how to reset the sensor, but first I rolled down a window while car is idling squirt some water and d a m n if the windows didn't roll up, so much for the wipers swiping water out of the view of the driver.

Make sure hood is fully closed!
