70 Ford Torino GT 2 DR- Head Scratcher

Nags calls for a FW735. The 735 is too big and lacks the beveled bottom corners. The owner tells me that this is a Sports Roof Model. Does that make a difference? There's no NAGS listing for a Sports Roof. All of the 70 GT's that I find have larger block sizes than the one that is in this car. Any one with any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Try the DW736 it might be a coupe

Try the DW736 it might be a coupe

The block size for the 736 is too large as well. The glass that's in this car is measuring about 22.5 on the sides. This glass also has a beveled bottom and neither the 735 or 736 has that. He has his original receipt from the dealer so no modifications have been done.

The block size is what they cut it out of, if it has beveled bottom it might have been a 28 inch piece and also nags is not always correct Not A Good Source (NAGS)...have you tried the 736?

Have you considered a DW700 fits 68/69. Block is 26x62

If it has a lower cowl and moldings between glass and hood Mark is right on and its a 69.

Check the red tail light lens. Back then they always changed every year and had the model year on the lens

I presume your first post was a misprint when you wrote FW735, not DW735.

If the original w/s in the car, what info is in the stencil?
