Anyone know if this tool is for sale? It looks like it is just the patent is for sale

Re: http://www.theautoglassinstaller.com/

This is a actual tool for sale and is in use. I hope he is at the auto glass show. We need to pick one of these up....

Re: http://www.theautoglassinstaller.com/

Really XS I do not see a place on the page to buy this tool. My boss and I had a discussion about this today and installing back glasses. I was not aware the tool was being produced, as the web site says that the patent rights are available.

Re: http://www.theautoglassinstaller.com/

I remember seeing this somewhere available for like 3k. Maybe I heard it from a vendor show or something. Well I will find out tomorrow at the auto glass show in MD

Re: http://www.theautoglassinstaller.com/

it was available for sale before. looks like they are selling the patent.

Re: http://www.theautoglassinstaller.com/

I spoke with the owner about teaming up, he was selling it but now wants to retire from manufacturing it and recoup his investment and sell it all. Did not have true cost for the build so I walked away. I thought he was selling it at a ridiculously low price and found out why. Great idea and product if someone picks it up and runs with it. I would think the cost should be in the $5k range after all productions cost are in.

Re: http://www.theautoglassinstaller.com/

Rick,

that is an outrageous price to pay for a tool. Best money I ever spent was on my Lil Buddy I use it all the time and it bails me out. Best gift I ever got that I did not spend money on was a Glass Bot I used the lite version on a 1782 across the top. Best money that a company ever spent for me was my BTB tool, that I am using like a mad man.

Let's think about how company vans are getting smaller, where would there be room for this auto glass installer tool. There is not much room left in the van when you cram everything in it that you need.

Heh. My van is a 92 Astro. Space is a premium thing. You using the original lil buddy or the later versions. Mine is original and more often than not the measurements don't quite make it right. Was wondering if you had some refined setup prcess or something?

Too bad the rolladeck doesn't do paypal.

Best tool received as a gift was the BTB winged pinchweld blades. Awesome. And the handle will take an express knife blade and lock it in for use on close quarters Q/G's you wanna save.

I never gave it a thought Phil, but I believe we will add Paypal as a method of payment to our shopping cart. We currently accept all major credit and debit cards including American Express and Discover. I will also accept a check by mail, but this delays delivery. You have many options, and my product is 100% satisfaction guaranteed and won't even take up an entire drawer in your tool box.

They still on the road? Amazing! If I was a customer and you showed up in that relic. I would just waive you off! Professional image presentation is part of the overall experience
