DW 1817 Rain sensor not working

Does anyone have any information on the rain sensor not working on the Cadillac SRX after windshield replacement?

Use the search window for a few answer's. There was a problem with frit band coverage and shade band problems covering sensor

Mark Daniels is the Rain Sensor Guru. But I have not seen him on here in awhile maybe he is on the naughty list?

We spoke about this issue at a few shows. Its not a rain sensor hardware problem. Its the actual aftermarket windows not made correctly for the sensor not getting a correct reading. Order a dealer oem window and the problem will be solved
