Re: glass medic supplies or comparable to supplies
Belron Technical (owns Glass Medic) announced earlier this year that they would no longer support retail operations and would be the exclusive supplier to Safelite in the US. They've probably tossed all the legacy stuff by now.
There are several good alternatives as long as your okay with manual tools, e.g., you're not using that automatic wsr contraption Safelite is so proud of. The NWRA has a listing of suppliers on their website. All of them except one would be a good alternative to Glass Medic and should be able to facilitate a very smooth transition.
Re: glass medic supplies or comparable to supplies
You will do yourself a HUGE favor by going to a better pressure/vacuum system.
many out there, all are better than glassmedic by far. After a short period of time you will wonder what took you so long, and maybe after your first repair. NO JOKE!
Re: glass medic supplies or comparable to supplies
I have tried delta kits but not a fan
I would appreciate any suggestions
I was with safelite in 87 when they
started with the glass medic pump system
went to the fly bridge and just stuck with it
no real reason familiarity I guess which
can breed contempt
Re: glass medic supplies or comparable to supplies
I forgot to add and why I was looking
for something comparable to glass medic
was I guess novus uses same type of injectors
and when i bought a company out, they had purchased
a boat load of injectors that will probably
take ten years to use
Re: glass medic supplies or comparable to supplies
Larry, AEGIS has some great systems out there as well. The new QuikSilver Kit or the Advantage Kit should also be considered. The Single Shot Resins are perfect for large shops.
Re: glass medic supplies or comparable to supplies
Mark,
I keep forgetting that your a Representative for them I have not personally used one so I have no opinion either way. I think that you represent great products, like the paint protection blades, when I seen you drag that on your rental car it impressed me :) been using them ever since...
Re: glass medic supplies or comparable to supplies
Check out Liquid Resins. They have several options including the old style.
Also have a new scratch removal system that is fast and no water sprayed on the glass. Also have Extractor line of tools......
