We have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer rear window we installed 2 months ago (DB9983YPY). The customer states they lifted the glass up and it exploded halfway up. In the process of figuring out what might have caused this, any info would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.
Its possible one of the rear hinge detached from the glass and lifting the glass at an angle stressed the glass to break. Very known problem with the aftermarket glass for the adhesive they use to fail. Mostly on ATI brand. Or the strut end broke and poked the glass and shattered it ?
