2013 chev express van w/s

2013 calls for dw1989. also 2009-2013 is a dw1580. can i use the dw1580 since it is listed.

DW 1265,1266,1519,1520,1580,1581,1989 all are the same block size and if you order a molding you get WFS D1265. The differences are solar, non-solar, frit style and mirror bckt. They will interchange but check the frit first on the 1989. Have no info on the 1989 but it is probably "acoustic". HTH

A REAL fully insured shop would install the correct windshield in. Instead of substitution of a lower price part and charge like the more expensive one. Even a pick-up tailgate installer wouldn't do that.

You should be thanking Minute Bond mirror adhesive when you switched the mirror bracket from the dw1989 to the dw1580

Ok let me understand this. DW1989 nags list 122.30... DW1580 nags list 211.50. Looks like my cost for the 1989 is around 40% more then the 1580, same windshield same moulding different bracket. Is there something wrong with this picture?

There sure is because the DW1581 without the bracket lists for $244.90.
