06 Nissan UD 1800 HD

Does anyone know if a new molding is required for this windshield. FW813.

Re: 06 Nissan UD 1800 HD

Rubber gasket job...Rubber is not glued in...unhook and push out and rope new one in....

Re: 06 Nissan UD 1800 HD

Yup. Wouldn't be a terrible idea to have a second pair of hands to hold it while you rope it in. These vehicles are pretty flat in front and theres not alot of gravity to hold the glass.

THANKS! You guys are the best!

Re: 06 Nissan UD 1800 HD

I should also add that if you don't have a second pair of hands available tape and a suction cup will work just as well.

Just tape the gasket to the glass and then tape the whole thing in two or three places to the body. Then put your suction cup on the inside so you can hold it while you rope it.
