repair kit cleaner

What is the best thing for cleaning the resin off of a repair kit. Kinda like washing it down after a repair. Besides methynol.

Re: repair kit cleaner

We use regular foaming glass cleaner after each use...works well for us.

Re: repair kit cleaner

I use Bra-Kleen and do it as soon as the kit comes off the car. it leaves no residue.

Re: repair kit cleaner

Glass cleaner works fine but I carry a container with soap and water just drop the parts in shake then dry tools off.

Re: Re: repair kit cleaner

DENATURED ALCOHOL SOLVENT IS WHAT WE USE.

Re: repair kit cleaner

My favorite cleaner for just about every task is good old scubs in a bucket we use them on the repair kits and most other cleaning jobs!
