Has anyone taken the sunvisors loose on a 2005 or 2006 corvette.

Re: corvette

Sorry, no help here, but doesn't that just SOUND horrible??? Yikes!!

Re: corvette

have done a couple ws's never had reason to remove sun visor. how come you need to remove it?

Re: corvette

Need to pull inside top trim to take off roof seal.
Might work around it but thought it would be safer when cutting out top of glass.

Re: corvette

roof seal in like side seal wedges in channel. if you're careful all you need to do is pull the front (ws side) of moulding out of lip, and it will give you room to cold knike top. rubber is like old vet, but no adhesive used. Easier to do then older vettes.

Re: corvette

We finally removed the sun visors-there is a notch in the plastic disk that visor arm goes through. Place the end of a small flat blade screwdriver in the notch and turn the visor arm against the screwdriver and the visor base rotates and comes out. There was a box (part of GPS almost against the top of car and we were afraid of damaging or cutting a wire). Thanks for responses.
