This has been brilliant! So many generous people to thank: Andrew, Luuuc, Chad, and Criscles I’ll be in touch with you too! 1979 was a fab year.
Seriously this has been so awesome. About 4 years ago I had a bad hard drive crash. Lost years worth. I was so devastated I didn’t bother to reconstruct my collection - until now.
Incidentally I think I have Some episodes in MP4 format (ie: consistent with the uploads) which I’m happy to share. I’ll have to do a reconciliation and let you know what they are.

thanks for uploading those files kiersey, i found the file labelled Countdown 82-06-04.mp4 (Marc Hunter host) doesn't seem to be in the 'Archives' section of this site. Is it the correct date & not in there or incorrect episode date?
Looks like it may have come from a recording from many years ago as the way they set out the date on screen is different to later broadcasts.

Hi there. Just stumbled across this forum. I have been Rage-ripping Countdown for a few years now. I'll be very surprised if I have anything precious but a list of the MPGs I have is below. Let me know if you want anything I can put it on FileFactory.
One question. It looks like Rage put the same date on '1982-04-11 Duran Duran" and "1982-04-11 Starstruck". This looks like a mistake. When were these episodes broadcast?
Also, I don't have many episodes from 1984 and 1985 which is disappointing. If someone can share some of their favourite episodes from these two years I'd be extremely grateful.

Unfortunately the recorder I used last year let me down with some crazy encryption that I could not hack. Does anyone have the episodes that were aired last summer (2021)?
Also, any opinions on sharing files from OneDrive? Is it a good platform to use? I want archive the episodes I have in the cloud, OneDrive seems convenient but expensive.

I don't know too much about one drive. I use Drop Box. It costs about $150/year which I feel is a small price to pay for 2TB of storage space. Works well, you can upload and download whatever you want, Can set up folders as you please.
Luuc did a post in this forum a few days ago with links to his C/D episodes. That will include last years as he has done this every year for the past 5 years.
If you get stuck give me a hoy and I can supply last years episodes.
