Batch Convert .ts To .mpg ?

Does anyone know of a program (preferably free) that can convert batches of .ts files to .mpg files? I can do it in Video ReDo, which I use to edit my recordings, but I have over a thousand videos to do plus three year's worth of recordings of "Countdown"/"Rock Artena"/etc. If anyone can help me, I will be very appreciative, but, if not, thanks for looking at this post anyway!

The best program I have ever used is Handbrake. It has converted every video I have wanted to save as an mp4. It can convert more than one file at a time. I've not needed any other program, because this does all I need. Good luck.
