I used to use DVD decrypter for ripping DVDs, but haven't used it yet on my new computer, you never know, it may still work, but thanx for the suggestions. My copy of the 1987 awards is a DVD from Troy from several years ago. I'm happy to do it right away, it's just the issue of trying to locate it, which may take me a week or two. Over the last three or four years I've had problems with my eyes, and have gone off recording countdowns. My countdown collection has fallen into a slight shade of disorganisation. Every January the time taken to record the shows, burn them off, label them, file them, and maintaining the DVD collection was taking up too much of my time, as my day job became more involved. :( Reggie rocket has taken over that task, we live within an hour of each other, and quite often physically visit each other, we often swap CD rips, as CDs are now more my thing.

Just so everyone is aware, I have had to delete my files from FileFactory. Hi Kiersey (and others who may be missing old Countdown episodes). Ill get more episodes (that circulate less) uploaded in the coming days.

Feel free to download with links below - the 3 are 23/03/80, 01/06/80, 15/06/80 - so far. The Sherbet from 30/12/75 is a repeat of the 24/08 show and the original broadcast version is wiped, but the 30/12 has been screened in more recent times (can upload if needed). Ill get more up tomorrow. Note that these recordings go way back to the analogue days of the 1990s and early 2000s but they are direct off air as VHS recordings, transferred direct to DVD then rendered as MPEG's. Enjoy.

Hi Rob. There were no Countdowns for last Saturday. They played Rock Arenas.

FYI, apart from their original airing, the majority of these have never aired on Rage since it started repeating Countdown eps apart from the April 15th 1984 and July 19th 1987 Countdown Awards.

Hopefully someone on here might be able to help you with those 2.

Hi there. Just stumbled across this forum. I have been Rage-ripping Countdown for a few years now. I'll be very surprised if I have anything precious but a list of the MPGs I have is below. Let me know if you want anything I can put it on FileFactory.

One question. It looks like Rage put the same date on '1982-04-11 Duran Duran" and "1982-04-11 Starstruck". This looks like a mistake. When were these episodes broadcast?

Also, I don't have many episodes from 1984 and 1985 which is disappointing. If someone can share some of their favourite episodes from these two years I'd be extremely grateful.
