I just love researching Countdown wherever I can - newspapers, magazines, online. Especially if it sheds light on unknown episodes from the 70s. This article talks about Sherbet playing on Countdown for the first time with their new lead guitarist, Jim Gannon.

You can certainly pick up interesting info to fill in the greater picture of all those lost episodes.

Although there is no date with The Studs article it can surely be matched up to an episode so we know that Funky Feet was the song performed. It looks like it would be the May 29 episode judging by the tour dates.

It is interesting to know which songs they played on which episodes.

The Studs article was from 22nd May 1977. Yes Armin, it's a slow process, but little by little, pieces like this help put together the puzzle of all of those missing episodes from the 1970s.
