Seeking Best Quality Countdown interviews with the Police 1979-1980

Hello,

I am desperately seeking help from any archivists who have maintained quality
archives of Countdown episodes in which the Police appeared for interview segments
(and a lip-synch performance of “Walking on the Moon”)

I am in the final stages of completing a (non-commercial, strictly not for distribution)
pitch-draft of a documentary about the Police but am unhappy with the rips of these segments I have to work with – I’d really prefer to convert them myself from source tapes or get hold
of best quality, non-deinterlaced VHS conversions from similarly
exacting analog nerds... I am well aware these are on youtube, but of course the video quality is very subpar.

The episodes I believe are:

Dec 16, 1979
Feb 3, 1980
March 16, 1980
Feb 22, 1981

If anyone can help, I’d be extremely grateful. I'll provide my email response on receipt of any helpful replies...

Thanks for reading.

Ben, I have digital copies of these episodes in various frame rates depending on their sources. Happy to provide them to you. PM me to follow up.

Cheers

Criscles - sent you an email (there doesn't appear to be a PM function at the website here)...
Also - how on earth does one log back in?
I joined up via my work computer, now at home I can't find a "log in" link.... I had to recreate my avatar etc for this post.

This is my website and my forum, you don't need to log in to use the Forum. As far as Avatars, I have no idea.

I just pay the money to keep it running

Still after these archives in the most raw format if anyone has them -
I am grateful to the two users who shared their own with me last week, however they were sadly very deinterlaced and had lots of visible digitisation artifacts.
