Glenn Frey has died yesterday. He's best known with The Eagles and a theme song of Beverly Hills Cop, The Heat Is On.

I saw him with the Eagles at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne with my mum and sister dated back in 2004.

I first heard it listening to the radio in the evening that day and the DJ said Don Henley prior to the news. I couldn't believe it, all those great solo hits 'Boys Of Summer', 'All She Wants To Do Is Dance', 'End Of the Innocence' and his duet with Patty Smyth from '92 'Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough' and then later he corrected himself and said 'Glenn Frey'. WTF? How amateur!
