I was at the ABC yesterday with a friend of mine whom used to go to Countdown from 1985 to 1987. We got to go into the Countdown studio and got a tour by a lovely man Dale who worked in set design on Countdown from 1981 on wards and still works at the ABC :-) he even took us back backstage where even Countdown audience members could not go! ... In the back we saw the original cranes and monitors used in the 80s on Countdown! Lots of video footage was filmed by us and I did my own Humdrum segments in the front of ABC as well. I am putting together a Countdown FUN doco with the footage we took this weekend and also doing interviews with original make up artists and dancers whom worked on Countdown.
WIll all be edited and finished probably by February.
In the meantime, rage goes retro is coming FINLL in 20 days time!!!!!!
