Re: 50 Australian Songs from the Last 50 Years.

Not sure Swingers, Split Enz, Lorde or OMC qualify as Australian but a pretty handy list anyhow.

Re: 50 Australian Songs from the Last 50 Years.

Without having a go either, I woudn't say 'I Should Be So Lucky' is Australian Made, but yeah, I do like your list.

Re: 50 Australian Songs from the Last 50 Years.

I think this is a list of the highest-selling single each year by an Australian artist, no?

Re: 50 Australian Songs from the Last 50 Years.

No. Then 'Locomotion' would be 1987 and I think 'Mona' or 'I Need Your Body' would be 1990 and so on, but you would know that Nathan, being a chart guru just like me.

Re: 50 Australian Songs from the Last 50 Years.

Very good list but it starts to drop off after 1991 - with the exception of the Powderfinger song

And would dump Australiana - Send Me An Angel was 1983?
