Absolutely 80s

Last night Scott Carne put me on his guest list for Absolutely 80s and it was BRILLIANT as Sean Kelly of The Models was their special guest.

Later on we went backstage and I had a wonderful talk with Sean and he signed all my stuff and I got more photos with Sean, Scott and Dale Ryder.

Just wanted to share, out OZ 80s LEGENDS are still in FINE FORM

I nearly went to that show but had a few things on last night and decided against the 45min drive. I opted instead to watch them at the York tonight which is only 15min down the road for me.

Unfortunately my show didn't have Sean. Would have been nice to see him perform as Models were the best. I saw James Freud a few years back at a similar gig to these but it was called something else. He was on with David Sterry, Paul Gray and Dale Ryder in some rival 80's gig at the FTG Hotel.

I know you don't like Brian, but for me he is the highlight of the show and 50 Years is still one of my favourite tracks of the 80's (we've only got 22 years left now to find out where we will be). He also does a good version of Rebel Yell. All the KITK songs were great.

Re: Absolutely 80s

I'm not really a fan of Brian either but 50 Years is a great song. I remember a comment made by John Blackman when it was played on Hey Hey..something like "not here that's for sure" about the line "where will we be....."

Hey Jason, that's great. BTW, it got me thinking, where are you at with the Greedy Smith interview. When will you be posting it up here?

Speaking of Bwian, he will be one of the contestants on Channel 9's " The Celebrity Apprentice", coming up after Easter.

Wasn't a big fan previously but he won me over with his cheeky good humour on Dancing With the Stars and I look forward to seeing how he goes on TCA.

I find DWTS downright tedious and normally don't watch but last series was worth watching just for Brian.
He was great value and highly entertaining.

I reckon he will be even better on TCA. Wonder if he will be drawn into all the b*tchiness and oneupmanship of this show?
