Pretty In Pink

Pretty In Pink is on tonight on Gem @ 8.35pm. Great 80's flick and 80's Soundtrack (which is why I have mentioned it in a post here). Can you believe that I only saw it for the first time last year and only a couple of years ago I bought the soundtrack on CD? 3 of the great tracks 'Shellshock', 'If You Leave' & 'Left Of Center' as most of you know are on '1986 Just For Kicks'. The cover of 'Wouldn't It Be Good' has grown on me.

Can't believe you never saw Pretty In Pink til last year?!?!

It's one of my fav films ever and I can quote many lines from the film (he, he, he) I ADORE!!!

And YES, the soundtrack is GREAT but there are a few items left off the soundtrack from the film as well :-(

It's all about Susan Vega's 'Left Of Center' for me amongst New Order's 'Thieves Like Us' with that BRILLIANT scene where Andy makes the dress which isn't featured on the soundtrack and The Smiths 'Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want amongst OTHERS of course!

80's movies generally had the best soundtracks, and this was up with the better ones.
