It was actually a standby show, and a repeat of episode 91 from December 1976.

Yes, that is the Christmas 1976 episode which was shown on the first ever retro in Jan 1993. It was only one night and meant to be a one-off but reaction was so positive they did it again the following year and retro month was born. This episode was also repeated in 2005 (?) after I requested it on the Rage messageboard. For some reason, this episode somehow survived, and if I'm not mistaken it is the only surviving episode between the colour TV launch episode - March 1, 1975 (which was also destroyed but later recovered from a U-Matic backup tape) and the 100th episode in May 1977 (which famously featured Molly becoming indisposed near the end and the co-hosts having to finish the show). The thing I remember most about the 1976 show is AC/DC performing Dirty Deeds and the girl who jumps the stage trying to kiss Bon, which proved he was singing live. Just magic

Ah, fair enough.

I have been taping since 1993, I just can't remember the show right now.
