I am hoping that "Rage" play the other "Rock Arena" (Rock & Roll Ladies) show which featured an assortment of music video clips by "Divinyls" and "Sharon O'Neill" not to mention other great women of music. Last year they played the "Some Girls" show with Wendy Stapleton, Pat Benatar etc which I really enjoyed. It would make perfect sense that they play this remaining show this year. This is really one show that needs to be aired as to my knowledge it hasn't been shown since it's first airdate back in the early 80's.

When rage played the Ladies ep last year I didn't know about that one as I know there is one with Motels, Grace Jones and others... Does this one also have Sharon O'Neill and Divinyls in it?

I saw one of the Rock Arena episodes about female rock singers called "Some Girls" in Rage on TV last year and during watching the clips by female rock singers, I wonder if I'm going to dream about being as a gentleman and dress up as Rod Taylor's character, Scobie Malone from the 1968 movie, The High Commissioner wearing a suit and a bow tie and appear in whether could it be going out with Wendy Stapleton in the film clip of Wendy and the Rocketts' Play The Game, being in a limousine with Annie Lennox in her blonde wig in the video clip of Eurythmics' Love Is A Stranger, hop in a car with Kim Wilde in the video clip of Love Blonde and doing with Vanity in the video clip of Nasty Girl, what's do you think? I'm just a dreamer.
If Rock Arena-"Rock and Roll Ladies" Show are going to be on Rage this Saturday, next Saturday or the week after, I'm going to watch it and after this, I'm going to dream about more female rock singers includes Chrissy Amphlett from the Divinyls.

I cut and pasted that episode of Rock Arena onto the comment that Scott had left on Rage. They are quite quick this morning, by the time I checked something else it was already up.

Being 2 weeks into retro may be a little late to get one of our suggestions through though.

Probably have to remember it for next year. I like that episode as it concentrates on Sharon O'Neill. Due to all her record label issues, particularly from late 1984 to 1987 where she virtually stood out of music due to these issues, there has never been (nor likely to be) any DVD covering her career so this will be as close as you may get.

Thank u everybody and it's nice to know that you are with me on this one. It is a show that is just waiting for a second airing now LOL. I'm thinking that perhaps the Australia Day weekend would be a nice fit for this one as "The Divinyls" and indeed the lovely "Sharon O'Neill" feature quite prominently.
