Sweet & Sour 25th Anniversary July 2

25 years ago Sweet & Sour debuted on the ABC but the anniversary will go unrecognised with no repeat showing planned.

One song that was performed on Sweet & Sour was Singing In The Shower, written by Brisbane band Solid Citizens. Solid Citizens have their own YouTube site (solidcitizens) which includes both the video to the song and their Countdown performance from December 16 1984 - an episode that has not been repeated on rage as yet so a rare bit of Countdown footage.

Hi Guru Bob!
You're to be saluted for acknowledging such a great show,unlike the ABC,who as you said,won't air it again,let alone release it on DVD.
It continues to baffle me as to why they keep ignoring the demand for this show to see the light of day again and prefer to let it rot away like it was nothing special.
Wish they'd snap out of this mindset-if not on the ABC,then ABC2 would be great.
